A Little About Us

Welcome to our salon!

Who are we? Eric and Marla Anslow. You'll likely see a lot of Marla around the salon- she is the main driving force for the success of the business. Eric works on keeping the lawn mowed and the parking lot plowed - with the help of our son in law, Russell, and our grandkids, Dalton and Chris.

We bought the salon in October 1997- we wanted to experience owning and operating a small business, and when Sun Bar None came available we jumped at the opportunity. We have attended many tanning trade shows, learning how to best market and run the salon, garnering many ideas of how to provide the best service and tanning experiences to our clients. Becoming members of SmartTan USA was one of the best decisions made after attending one of these conferences.

Marla requires all of her employees to become SmartTan certified- this certification offers employees the knowledge to best help guide their clients towards the best tanning experience, using top of the line equipment, and best tanning products for their skin types and for their desired tan experience.

The Interior of Alaska can be harsh on anyone-  thanks for choosing our salon for your tanning needs!

Directions from Eielson AFB - turn to the right out of front gate, go 3 miles north on the Old Richardson Highway, at hard left corner -at the Moose Creek General Store, turn to the right, go over the train tracks, this road is Lauesen Avenue we are the 3rd building on the right.

Directions from North Pole - head south on the Richardson Highway approximately 5 miles. Turn left at the first Moose Creek exit (Claude St), at stop sign go straight, up and over the train tracks, go straight on Lauesen Avenue at the Moose Creek General Store, we are the 3rd building on the right.
