Do I need to make an appointment to tan?

• You don't always need an appointment- but we would hate for you to have to wait to get into a nice warm tanning bed!
• If you need to cancel an appointment please be sure to give us 2 hours notice - otherwise we will need to take a tan off of your current package.

Can I use tanning lotions intended for natural UV lighting?

• No! - You need to use lotions that are specially formulated for the tanning beds and the tanning bulbs.

I am pregnant - can I still tan?

• Yes! - Please let us know if you are pregnant - so Marla can prepare herself if she had to come in and help you out of the bed - which she really doesn't want to do! In reality please follow your doctor's recommendations.

Do I need to have an expensive membership to tan?

• No - We have some really great packages that you can purchase- or check out our specials!

I am worried about the hygiene of tanning beds - are the beds cleaned? How often?

• Great question! Our beds are cleaned after every tanner! - We use a special tanning bed cleaning formula- that removes the often times unseen tanning lotion smears, left by other tanners. While we clean the entire bed we pay particular attention to the the areas that lotions would tend to collect.

Do I need to special eyewear?

• Yes! - We sell a variety of styles to choose from- it is imperative that every tanner have their own goggles, for hygiene and over all eye health. See one of our trained attendants for suggestions. 

How long are tanning packages good for?

• Tans purchased are good for 1 year from the purchase date -unless otherwise stated

Can I take a shower or bathe after tanning?

• The answer is two-fold
• If you didn't use a lotion-then yes- feel free to take a bath.
• If you did use a lotion-you should wait a few hours before jumping into the shower. Gives the lotion a chance to do its "magic".
